About Aline

I wrote my first story around age five. Fast-forward to 2014: I graduated from York College of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in Professional Writing, having already gained experience as both an English tutor and teaching assistant—early roles that sharpened my editing eye and collaborative communication skills.

Soon after, I joined Comcast as a marketing specialist, where I developed foundational skills in brand messaging and audience engagement. I might’ve stayed longer if not for falling in love with a military service member, which led me to prioritize flexibility and remote work.

That pivot sparked the launch of my freelance business, Adrenaline Proofing. As a one-woman operation, I wrote and edited across industries—scientific journals, travel and hospitality, health and wellness, and more. This period honed my ability to adapt voice, tone, and complexity to suit diverse audiences and platforms.

In 2022, I joined RVO Health, where I’ve held multiple editorial roles. I began as an updates editor managing Healthline’s Global Updates team, overseeing real-time content accuracy and leading international editorial coordination. I later transitioned to the Prevention team, which supports weight loss and wellness apps (Wellos, Real Appeal) as well as smoking cessation tools.

Here, my scope has expanded beyond editorial to include UX writing, email and in-app messaging, marketing copy, video scripting, AI content training, and cross-functional collaboration with product and design teams. Through it all, I’ve maintained a sharp editorial instinct, a flexible content strategy mindset, and a passion for words that inform, guide, and inspire.
